Time for some fun. Namely, 5 Things You Probably Don’t Know About Me. (I was going to do 10…but that seemed a little crazy).
1. In third grade I had a short, unflattering haircut. My teacher mistook me for a boy named D.J. It was mortifying.
2. A few years ago, I was invited to an 80’s party. I decided to dress the way I did in the 1980’s. Nailed it.
3. I once accidentally auditioned for the Grand Rapids Opera. I knew I was doomed when a little girl diva snubbed me after I sang. Long story short…I didn’t make it.
4. As a little girl, I dreamed of starring on Saturday Night Live.
5. I started my writing career as a playwright. My play “Merry Chrismukkah” was published in 2006 and has been performed at at least 5 churches!
Your turn. Tell me something that I probably don’t know about you! It could be fun!
1.) I was born in California
2.) When I was young (still in CA) I dressed as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle for Halloween for 2 years. This was my idea. I loved them. I was a mega tomboy.
3.) When I was in middle school, I was playing “golf” with my dad’s new club in the house. I smashed a light fixture. I still don’t think they really know how that happened.
4.) I love trashy pop music.
5.) I can’t have kids, by choice.

Seriously. Seperated. At. Birth (uh…well, many years apart).
1.I was kept out of the girl’s bathroom in the 2nd grade for the same reason–I had a short hair cut and loved to play hard with the boys. The yard monitor humiliated me to tears!
2. I took up drums at age 41
3. I like to listen to music ridiculously loud in my car–the bigger the drums the better. I will one day be 80 and be able to afford the huge subwoofer I’ve always wanted.I won’t be able to drive, so pity the rest-home I live in.
4. I accidentally set my parent’s couch on fire
5. My great-great something-er-other Pinel introduced elctro-shock therapy for emotional issues in France and was nearly beheaded.. My grandmother would never speak of it because of the shame.

Hmmm…let’s see…things you don’t know about me….
1. That I exist
2. That I want to be like you when I grow up (except for the girl part, oh and being introverted and not making the opera since I clearly should be in an opera)
3. That at the age of 51, I still like punk rock and even some Screamo bands
4. That I learned so much and am working hard to apply what I learned at your “Breathe” seminar.
5. I think that’s it – there’s nothing else to know.
